Tighes Hill Early Learning Centre prides itself on the advancement of unstructured and imaginative outdoor play that requires the element of risk. The outdoor play areas are nestled amongst gardens and mature trees that encourages interaction with nature.

Michael White Landscape Architecture was tasked with designing an upgraded play space that met Australian safety standards, yet still providing elements of risk, fun and explorative play that was easy to monitor and maintain for the staff.

A multi-play element was centrally placed as well as new gardens, mud pit and access paths to create a much-loved new play experience.
