Vaughan Avenue
Historically, Vaughan Ave was the link between Gosford’s working waterfront and the village core. It is one of the first streets constructed during the establishment of Gosford.
Much has changed since the early establishment, however, the alignment of Vaughan Ave and its link to the waterfront is mostly unchanged. A rapid change of use of adjacent land has brought about a new vibrancy to the area.
Michael White Landscape Architecture was engaged to prepare a public domain plan that would elevate the street to a high standard befitting of the new precinct, while respecting the past and its important role in the early establishment of Gosford through design responses and interpretation.
