An upgrade to the existing outdoor plaza was undertaken to improve the user experience, safety and overall aesthetics. Central to the design was the selective retention of mature London Plane trees that were the prominent features of the space.

Custom design furniture with artistic imagery inspired by the Parramatta River were placed amongst strategically positioned garden beds to create shaded seating areas and direct pedestrian flow.

Michael White Landscape Architecture removed existing walls and barriers to better integrate the plaza with its surroundings, physically and visually.
